You may be wondering about your fertility health, maybe you are in a relationship and thinking of trying for a pregnancy or you may be single and have concerns about your fertility.

We are able to offer fertility check ups either individually or as a couple.

Fertility check for women

Our comprehensive womens fertility check up involves a blood test for Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH). This is often referred to as a test to look at ovarian reserve, so the number of healthy eggs a woman has left indicating her potential fertility reserve.

During your consultation with one of our specialists a full history will be taken and a Transvaginal ultrasound scan will be performed. This will look at the anatomy and health of the uterus and ovaries. The scan can also be used to count the number of growing follicles in the ovaries. The results of these tests will then be explained to you by your consultant.

Fertility Check up for couples

We will invite you both to have a test.

The women will have a blood test for Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH). This is often referred to as a test to look at ovarian reserve, so the number of healthy eggs a woman has left indicating her potential fertility reserve.

The man will be offered a semen analysis which measures the quantity and quality of sperm

During your consultation with one of our specialists a full history will be taken and a Transvaginal ultrasound scan will be performed. This will look at the anatomy and health of the uterus and ovaries. The scan can also be used to count the number of growing follicles in the ovaries. All the information obtained from the blood and semen analysis tests and scan will then be explained to you by your consultant.
