Last week, our co-founder Mr Chris Barnick travelled to Belfast to attend the BSGE ASM 2024.
This was a fantastic conference spanning two days, covering all manor of topics within minimal access gynaecological surgery.
He met with industry leads from a variety of the technology, medical device and pharmaceutical companies we work with to ensure that we are using the most up to date and advanced technology available. We heard from guest speakers, including a fantastic talk by Professor Joe Amaral on “Innovation within Gynaecology”, all the way from Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, as well as a enthralling Keynote Lecture on “Healthcare in the Troubles of Northern Ireland”.
The conference was a great success, and we left having strengthened old friendships and developed new partnerships which we are excited to move forward with. It was topped off with a 500 strong Gala Dinner in the historic Titanic Museum - certainly a great night and one to remember!
Mr Barnick is widely recognised nationally and internationally as an excellent gynaecological surgeon. He performs a wide range of gynaecological operations using Minimal Access Techniques.
The more complex laparoscopic (keyhole) surgical procedures he performs are removal of fibroids, excision surgery for advanced Stage IV endometriosis, deep infiltrating endometriosis (DIE) and recto-vaginal endometriosis.
Please do be in touch via Contact Us if you would like to enquire about a consultation with him.
