The Menopause and Women’s Health

Last week, our Co-Director, Mr Chris Barnick, was invited as a guest speaker at the prestigious Women’s University Club in Mayfair, where he gave a talk on the Menopause and Women’s Health.

This was a fantastic evening spent engaging with women from a variety of backgrounds, discussing the stigmas around the menopause, the principles of hormone replacement therapy, and recent advances and updates.

We had a great time at the Club, and always love having the opportunity to spread the wealth of knowledge to enable women to become experts in their own care.

This follows recent updates from The British Menopause Society (1), who have released further guidance on the Management of unscheduled bleeding on hormone replacement therapy (HRT). This is a common clinical scenario we encounter on a daily basis, and we are delighted to see the national societies promoting safer clinical care.

Here at ObGyn Matters, we are ready to listen to all of your symptoms, we are ready to offer you an array of suitable treatment options, and we can be trusted to ensure that a diagnosis is made swiftly, and that you receive the highest level of surgical care should it be required.
