Ms Vinita Singh is a NHS Consultant Obstetrician at the Royal Free Hospital, London and sees pregnant women privately at the Portland with ObGynMatters.
She specialises in all aspects of antenatal care and birth, including managing high risk pregnancies and those with diabetes and other associated medical problems.
Ms Singh completed her primary medical qualification and specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in a tertiary teaching and referral centre in India.
She came to UK in 2007 and completed her obstetrics and gynaecology training in London. She has gained a wide variety of experience in top London teaching hospitals including St Georges Hospital, University College London Hospital & Kings College Hospital.
She has been a Consultant since 2015.
Ms Singh has established joint maternal medicine, neurology and hepatology clinics at the Royal Free London Hospital. She also runs the joint obstetrics medicine & joint diabetes clinic. She has written multiple guidelines on the care of complicated pregnancies.
She has a wide experience of working with women from diverse cultures, ethnicities & socio-economic backgrounds.
Ms Singh prides herself on woman centred care, open communication and working in partnership with women.
She is a member of various national & international societies such as the RCOG, the Obstetrics Cardiology Society & International society of Obstetrics Medicine.
Ms Singh is actively involved in education & training of junior doctors. She was appointed to be the Royal College tutor for obstetrics & gynaecology at the Royal Free Hospital and is now an advanced training preceptor for Obstetric Medicine for North Central & East London.
